Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how TUCKR89 LLC ("TUCKR89," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in Truck Fuel Surcharge Pro (the "App"). V1 is local-first: it does not require a Truck Fuel Surcharge Pro account, does not use a developer-operated application backend, does not include advertising, and does not provide cloud synchronization.

2. Information processed by the App

The App processes information you enter in order to perform fuel-surcharge calculations and support local app features. This may include diesel price, base/peg price, truck MPG, surcharge miles, truck profile information, customer profile information, saved calculations, favorites, and default selections or preferences.

3. Locally stored information

V1 stores application information locally on your device. Calculations are performed locally. We do not operate an application backend that receives your locally stored truck profiles, customer profiles, calculation history, favorites, or default selections as part of normal V1 operation.

4. Truck information

If you create truck profiles, the App may store a truck name or label and average MPG locally on your device. This information is used to populate calculations and support default-truck functionality.

5. Customer information

If you create customer profiles, the App may store a customer or broker name or label and a base/peg fuel price locally on your device. This information is used to populate calculations and support default-customer functionality.

6. Calculation history

The App may store calculation inputs and results locally so you can view, save, favorite or reuse calculations. These records are not transmitted to a developer-operated V1 backend as part of normal use.

7. Sharing calculations

The App can let you intentionally invoke your operating system's sharing functionality. When you choose to share, the calculation content you select is provided to the operating system share sheet and then to the application, person, or service you choose. Once information is intentionally shared with another application or service, that recipient's privacy practices and terms apply. TUCKR89 does not control how a receiving service processes information you choose to send to it.

8. Subscription and purchase information

Pro subscription transactions are handled through Google Play or Apple's App Store. Google or Apple may process account, transaction, device, tax, billing, subscription-status, fraud-prevention, and related store information under their own privacy practices. TUCKR89 does not receive your complete payment-card number from those in-app transactions. The App may receive or use store-provided entitlement or purchase-status information needed to determine whether Pro access is active.

9. Information the developer does not collect through the V1 app backend

Because V1 has no developer-operated application backend, we do not receive your locally stored truck profiles, customer profiles, calculation history, favorites, or default app preferences through such a backend. V1 also does not contain an advertising system. This statement does not mean that Apple, Google, your operating system, a device backup service, or a service you intentionally share data with collects no information.

10. Third-party services

The App relies on platform services necessary to distribute the App and process subscriptions, including Google Play and Apple's App Store. Device operating systems may also provide storage, backup, restoration and sharing functionality. Each third party processes information according to its own privacy policy and settings.

11. Data disclosure and sharing

We do not sell the locally stored V1 application data described above. Information may leave your device when you intentionally use sharing functionality, when your device or platform performs backup or restoration according to your settings, or when Apple or Google processes store and subscription activity. We may also disclose information if required by law to the extent we actually possess it.

12. Data retention

Locally stored application data generally remains on your device until you delete it within the App where deletion controls are available, clear application data, or remove the App, subject to device or platform backup and restoration behavior. Store transaction records may be retained by Apple or Google under their own policies.

13. Deleting application data

You can delete individual locally stored records where the App provides deletion controls. You may also clear the App's data through your device settings or uninstall the App. Device backups may preserve or later restore some information depending on your platform and backup settings. Subscription records held by Apple or Google are managed through those services.

14. Security

Local-first design reduces routine transmission of your calculation and profile data to us, but no device, software, storage system, or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect access to your device and use caution when sharing calculations that contain information you consider confidential.

15. Children's privacy

Truck Fuel Surcharge Pro is a business utility intended for truck drivers, owner-operators, lease operators and trucking businesses. It is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us through a support or contact channel, contact us so we can address the request.

16. International users

The App may be available in more than one country. App-store processing, device services, and any service you intentionally share information with may process information in jurisdictions different from your own. Subscription pricing, taxes, currency and store terms may vary by region.

17. Privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information that an organization holds about you. Because V1's app-profile and calculation data is stored locally and is not sent to a TUCKR89 application backend during normal operation, we generally cannot access, retrieve, correct or delete that local device data for you. For information you send directly to TUCKR89 through support or contact channels, you may contact us to make an applicable privacy request. For app-store data, contact Apple or Google as appropriate.

18. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, website, legal requirements or our practices change. We will update the effective or last-updated date on this page. Material architectural changes, such as adding an account system, developer-operated backend, cloud synchronization or new categories of third-party processing, may require corresponding policy updates.
